Par le pouvoir d'un mot je recommence ma vie

Girl. 18. Italy. I need to express myself in some way.
I live surrounded by words, notes, the smell of books and flowers. I keep here what fills my eyes with beauty.

Stanley Kubrick’s Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964) ends abruptly with footage of nuclear explosions, while Vera Lynn’s We’ll Meet Again plays, creating an eerie juxtaposition of sight and sound. The footage comes from various test footage, including the bombing of Nagasaki, Operation Sandstone, hydrogen tests from Operations Redwing and Ivy. Spike Milligan, a friend of Peter Sellers, is credited with suggesting the music for the scene.
